When Can We Cruise Again?

As Coronavirus and COVID-19 are becoming household words, so many of us are getting stir crazy for when we can get back out and see the world again!

As for right now, the CDC has issued a “no-sail order” until September 30, 2020. But we have gathered some information on a few of the cruise lines we work with, in order to give you an idea when we’ll be able to start cruising again.

We’ll try to keep this list as updated as possible, to keep you in the know!


Carnival Cruise Line

  • All San Francisco sailings canceled for 2020
  • All Carnival Sunrise sailings canceled until October 19, 2020
    • Miami 7 and 8 day sailings from October 9, 2020 through and including April 30, 2022, excluding the March 5, 2022 sailing are all canceled.
    • Miami 5 day sailing January 3, 2022 is canceled.
  • All Carnival Legend sailings canceled until October 31, 2020.
  • All Carnival Radiance sailings canceled until November 2, 2020.
    • 9, 12 and 14 day sailings from May 2, 2021 through and including April 29, 2022
    • 5 day sailings December 23, 2021 and December 28, 2021
  • All Carnival Spirit and Splendor – canceled until October 31, 2020.
  • Mardi Gras sailings canceled until November 14, 2020 through January 30, 2021.
  • Carnival Breeze from Ft. Lauderdale sailings November 7, 2020 through March 7, 2021 are canceled.
  • Carnival Magic
    • Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Sailings canceled through October 31, 2020.
    • Transatlantic and Barcelona sailings canceled April 10, 2021 through May 3, 2021
  • Carnival Fascination sailings canceled through January 9, 2022
  • Carnival Sensation sailings canceled March 3, 2022 and March 7, 2022
  • All other ships sailings canceled until October 1, 2020

Cancellation Policies are as follows:

Norwegian Cruise Line

  •  All sailings until October 31, 2020

Cancellation Policies are as follows:

  • Simply put, for any voyage through and including December 31, 2020, guests are free to cancel anytime up to 48 hours in advance of embarkation.
  • Anyone choosing to cancel will receive a full refund in the form of a future cruise credit to be used for sailings that embark through December 31, 2022.

Emerald Waterways/Scenic

  • All River Cruises, Ocean Cruises and Land Based Tours are suspended until October 31, 2020
  • With the exception of Egypt, Jordan and Israel Land Based Tours, which are suspended until December 31, 2020.

Cancellation Policies are as follows:

To ensure your future travel plans will be protected, if you hold a:

  • River or ocean cruise reservation during this period Emerald Waterways will provide a 110% Future Travel Credit (FTC) Voucher for the amount paid, to re-book and travel by 30 June 2023
  • Land tour (including Egypt cruise tours) reservation during this period, Emerald Waterways will provide a 100% FTC Voucher for the amount paid, to re-book and travel by 30 June 2023
